a travelodge in bournemouth for july?
Answers:
There are so many hotels and places to stay in Bournemouth that you really do have a lot of choice and as a result prices are competitive. I'd shop around to see if you can get a better deal than the Travelodge just in case.
If you want to be right near the beach go for somewhere on the Westcliff or Eastcliff.
Bournemouth has a lot of nightclubs so depending on what you like that could be a good or a bad thing. If you want to be close to the clubs and bars go for a hotel with a town centre location. The Triangle is where the gay bars are so best place to be near that are hotels on Poole Hill.
There are nice hotels in Westbourne which is only a short walk, drive or bus ride from the centre.
A good tip if you are heading for the beaches is to avoid the main Bournemouth beach where the pier is as it gets overcrowded. Walk 20 minutes down from the main beach or go to Alum Chine. There are also beautiful beaches in Poole such as Sandbanks or Shore Road.
