Anyone been to Madame Tussaud's?

How was it? Did you have enough time in the day to see everything? Value for money (I know It's expensive)?

Yes, I was there a couple of months ago. I enjoyed it and the models were quite realistic.

Expensive? It depends on where you're from and the value of your currency against the English Pound. It's not cheap - but it's always packed. Go figure.

I went on a one-day bus tour (The Big Bus Company) and they sold discounted tickets to Madame Tussaud's which was good. Those tickets also allow you to skip the queue outside the building (separate entrance).

The one complaint I had was that you teneded to be 'rushed' thru the exhibits and you didn't know when it would end. You can't go backwards to a previous exhibit and you don't know when it will end.therefore you run out of exhibits before you want to leave (hence my 'rushing' comment). My advice.take your time in each room (exhibit) and enjoy them.

Also, the visit to the Planetarium at the end is quite good (although it's quite a short presentation).

Overall - value for money? 3 out of 5.

I liked it. It took a couple of hours to go through, but that's because it was so crowded. I don't think that it was worth the money, though. Oh, by the way, there's one in NYC!
It is overpriced and not that good! The wax models are not that realistic. Only good for people that have more money than sense.
Yes, I did visit Madame Tussaud's year 1995. It was really fascinating and marvellous to visit the wonderful creation by human being. The cost is expensive but I feel it's worthy to be there.
Yes, it's good but it is expensive and I don't think it's much value for money. I went on the London Eye out of season, when it cost £8.50 per person. It's now £11.70 - which includes the 10% discount for on-line booking, which I recommend you do. But it is a fantastic experience and worth doing.
It is only good if you are keen on learning about the figures displayed. Otherwise - it is a bore.
Tourist trap.if you are really into wax and wax models then go, otherwise..buy some pints or go to the British Museum.
I wasn't all that impressed! It's always packed, the people represented are random, and it isn't cheap.

There are better things to do and see!! Get an English Monolopoly board :)
