Anyone visited Scotland?

Where did you go and what did you think about it?

Went to Edinburgh and absolutely loved it! That city is so old and has much history. Some of the buildings are older than our country. The people were very nice also.

I went to Edinburgh about 40 years ago and thought it was terrific. The people were so nice.
Hired a boat for a week and travelled from Inverness to Fort William and back. The scenery is magnificent, The malt scotch was of course first rate. Tried haggis and neeps while I was in Fort William too. Not entirely to my taste to be honest. The people seemed friendly. Never saw Nessie. The only let down was the boat. "Glen Markie" It was a 40ft steel hulled slug. Must have been the slowest thing on the water. Opened up the twin Perkins diesels and a jogger passed us on the bank. Everyone had to wait for us going through all the locks on Laggan Straight. Funny really.
Well, I live in Edinburgh, so you might as well come along, everybody else has already been here!
