A U.S. permanent resident travels to london, do I need a visa to visit on business?

Answers:
At the airport, you will receive a stamp on your passport that states that you can enter the country for 6 months, as long as you do not become employed or receive public funds. Just state the purpose of your visit and how long you intend to stay once you pass through customs (which at Heathrow can be a few hour-long wait, so be prepared).

Happy travels!

Other answers:
No due to passport exchange regulations. However you'll find it easier to enter the UK than we do to enter America, cos we not scared like you!

if you are from the uk then no. i live in the us have been here for 24years and i have permanent resident card and a uk passport so i need no visa to go home.if you are from another country other than uk then yes i think you need a visa.
I don't think you do, but I'm confused with your status as a U.S. permanent resident, does that mean you don'thave a US passport? Check the UK government site at http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk - there's a simple questionnaire that will tell you whether you need one.
