Any suggestions for where to stay in Edinburgh?

A group of 8 of us (all girls ) are going up to Edinburgh for a weekend in July and looking for a place to stay. Anyone know of any good apartments we could rent in the city centre?

Expensive in city centre. Sleep under the crags in the rocks at the castle like what I does. Watch Shallow Grave before ye come.
